The Journey of iGUIDE

Let me share a bit about why iGUIDE was created. My journey began in the foreclosure industry, coming from a background in debt collections. I had a knack for helping people out of tricky situations with compassion and resilience. This experience taught me that corporate hierarchy, monetary gains, and accolades often overshadow the true focus on people. I struggled to find a company that shared my values of empathy, honesty, and fighting for what is right.

I noticed that success often led to a lack of empathy among my peers. Compassion, seeing yourself in others, and understanding that everyone is doing their best became my guiding principles. Listening to people, understanding their needs, and helping them solve their problems is what sales truly is. This fundamental belief stayed with me as I ventured into Mortgage Loan Origination, Real Estate, Mobile Manufactured Dealership, and New Home Sales. Despite my efforts, I never found a perfect fit, not even in the first company that Chris and I built. I felt lost.

Fast forward to the past year, I worked for a large builder. I loved the product and initially thought I loved the culture. However, when my loans stopped closing and clients were let down, I realized the company was losing talented and compassionate employees because the employees simply could not afford to stay. I felt angry and powerless.

I wanted to help those who needed me, but I had given away my power. I realized I was looking for an easy way out instead of doing the challenging work needed to make a real impact. I tried to step away, taking a job selling leads to real estate agents, but I couldn't leave. A call from a family member and a past client reminded me of my love for helping people find stability and pride in their accomplishments.

I refused to do business the way I was forced to. I told Chris I was going to do it my way, and he jumped in to support me. Together, we rebuilt my licenses in Mortgage Loan Origination and created iGUIDE.

We are a work in progress, but with your support and feedback, we can build something truly people-focused and efficient.

I look forward to working together to raise the standard of care in Real Estate and Mortgage Loan Origination to the iGUIDE standard.
